Forefoot Surgery Course
This course is aimed at all levels of orthopaedic trainees, as well as allied health professionals such as nurses, physiotherapists and podiatrists.
The aim of the course is to provide an update on the types of pathology seen in the forefoot, as well as the non-operative and operative means of treatment. The course will be delivered by lectures, sawbone workshops, and discussion groups.
It will be a useful way for trainees to increase their osteotomy numbers in a simulated environment.
It does not assume any previous knowledge apart from a basic familiarity with the anatomy of the foot, although some of this will be covered during the course anyway.
The course is £50 for orthopaedic trainees and free for allied health professionals.
To book your place, please click the button below if you are an orthopaedic trainee, and email info@orthocycle.org if you are a nurse, physio or podiatrist to register your attendance.
Catering is provided for the day, and the numbers will be limited so that everyone has a chance to get involved in the practicals.
The forefoot course will be held at the Brooks Building of Manchester Metropolitan University
Please see the map below. It is adjacent to the A5103 Princess Parkway, and is reached by either turning off at the Asda or by crossing the Hulme Arch Bridge A5067 (Cavendish Street) from Cambridge Street.
